For Physicians

Same day or next day appointments are available for emergencies, and at Springfield Urology, we have a policy to get ALL NEW patients in within a week.  Established patients will only be scheduled with the physician they initiated their treatments with, therefore it may require longer than a week depending on the physician schedule.

Insurance

As a courtesy and convenience to you, we will file claims for all our patients.  We participate with most major insurance companies including Anthem, UHC, Medical Mutual, and Aetna.  We are also providers for Medicare, most Medicare advantage plans, Ohio Medicaid, and Molina.  However, we do not participate with all insurance companies.  If you are unsure of our participation with your insurance company, please contact them to verify our participation.
 

Hospital Affiliations

We perform surgeries at multiple hospitals, including Ohio Valley Medical Center, Springfield Regional Medical Center, and Kettering Hospital.  If you have a preference, please make the surgery scheduler aware as soon as possible.  We will try and accommodate any request, but at times this is impossible due to the type of procedure, the physician’s schedule, and the timeliness of available rooms.
 

Surgical Information

In accordance with CMS regulations, Springfield Urology would like to inform you of the physician limited ownership of certain equipment, companies or hospitals.  The physicians of Springfield Urology have limited ownership of GOML which is the company that provides the ESWL or extra-corporeal shockwave lithotripsy.  They also have limited ownership of the Ohio Valley Medical Center.  If you have any concerns about this, we will be happy to address them for you.
